Invest in Yourself, it Pays the BEST Interest

Microneedling is the latest trend in the quest to stay youthful. It uses fine needles to puncture the skin and create a controlled skin injury in order to rejuvenate skin. It is also called Needling, Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) and Percutaneous Collagen Induction (PCI).

Perfect for: Fine lines and wrinkles; Reduce pore size; Photo-aging, rough, leathery skin texture; Hyper-pigmentation; Hypo-pigmentation; Acne-scars; Stretch marks

How is the procedure done?

A sterile applicator containing 12 tiny micro-needles is attached to the MicroPen. Our skincare professional will apply a thin layer of saline solution to your skin and select the appropriate treatment setting based on your unique needs.

Next, in a single motion, the MicroPen will be gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding until the entire treatment area has been covered.

How is Micro Needling different from Dermal Needling Roller?

Automated Micro Needling devices move in a vertical direction for better precision when treating the skin. On the other hand, Dermal Needling Roller does not create a precise vertical action, which can contribute to greater discomfort and inconsistent effects to the skin.

How is Micro Needling different from Lasers?

There is no preparation for an Oxygen Facial except to come with a clean face, free of makeup.

What does it feel like?

The feeling associated with Micro Needling is similar to light sandpaper being moved across the skin. While some areas are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating tip reduces discomfort while the applied hydrating gel also makes the treatment more tolerable.

How long does the procedure take?

The procedure takes 15-30 minutes depending on the size of the area treated.

What is the downtime?

You will notice a bright redness to the skin immediately after the treatment. The total healing time depends on the Micro Needling setting used and the number of overlapping passes your skincare professional performs. On average, skin may remain red up to 2 to 4 days. Many patients heal completely in as little as 24 hours.

When will I see results?

Patients notice an immediate “GLOW” to their skin. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks. Results can continue to improve up to 6 months.

How many treatments will I need?

Some patients only require a single treatment once per year to achieve optimal results. However, it is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 2-3 treatments spaced about 6-8 weeks apart. For patients with deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks or acne scars it is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions at 6-week intervals.

What areas of the body can be treated?

Micro-needling can be used on all parts of the body, including the: face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back.
