Why is microneedling on the neck just as important as on the face?

How is the procedure done?

A sterile applicator containing 12 tiny microneedles is attached to the MicroPen. Our skincare professional will apply a thin layer of pure hyaluronic acid solution and select the appropriate treatment setting based on your unique needs. Next, in a single motion, the MicroPen will be gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding until the entire treatment area has been covered.

How is a Microneedling device different from the Dermal Needling Roller?

Automated Microneedling devices move in a vertical direction for better precision when treating the skin. On the other hand, the Dermal Needling Roller does not create a precise vertical action, which can contribute to greater discomfort and inconsistent effects to the skin.

What does it feel like?

The feeling associated with Microneedling is similar to light sandpaper being moved across the skin. While some areas are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating tip reduces discomfort while the applied hydrating gel also makes the treatment more tolerable.

How long does the procedure take?

The procedure takes up to 75 minutes depending on the size of the area treated.

What is the downtime?

You will notice a bright redness to the skin immediately after the treatment. The total healing time depends on the Microneedling setting used and the number of overlapping passes your skincare professional performs. On average, skin may remain red for up to 2 to 4 days. Many patients heal completely in as little as 24 hours.

When will I see results?

Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks. Results can continue to improve for up to 3 months.

How many treatments will I need?

It is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 4 treatments spaced about 4 weeks apart.
